Mitchell Moreno: Director & Co-designer

Mitchell studied at Christ’s College Cambridge and the Royal Academy of Music, and was a trainee director at the Orange Tree Theatre.

Directing credits include Men Without Shadows by Jean Paul Sartre (Finborough Theatre), Russian Romance (Oktober and Usopov Theatres, St Petersburg, and Barbican, London), Hippolytus by Euripides and Seven Deadly Sins and Three Small Flaws (Orange Tree), The Paper Piano (Edinburgh Fringe), and Five Chapters of Love (site specific tour).

Mitchell has worked as a staff director at the National Theatre and RSC, and assisted Stephen Daldry in the creation of Billy Elliot in the West End, staying on as the show's first Resident Director. He was recently a Regional Director for National Theatre New Connections 2009.
